What this is

Xpirius is a service of Xpirius LLC, 818 S Padre Island Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78416. Xpirius helps Texas business owners keep track of permit, license and filing dates. Text reminders are an optional part of the paid plan (which starts with 30 free days). They are a short text before a date you entered is due. They are only about the dates on your own list. We never send sales or promotional texts. Text reminders come from (361) 967-8108.

How you sign up

You choose it yourself, on your Xpirius account page, after you sign in. You type your mobile number and tick a separate box that is not ticked for you. You can use Xpirius and buy the paid plan without ticking it. The box says:

I agree to get text reminders from Xpirius LLC at this number about the due dates I enter: 7 days before, on the day, and 1 day after if not marked renewed. Up to 1 text a day. Message and data rates may apply. Texts come from (361) 967-8108. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Text reminders are part of the paid plan. I am not required to agree in order to use Xpirius or to buy anything.

We then send one confirmation text. Your reminders start only after you reply Y. We save your consent: the date and time, the words you saw, the page version, your number, your IP address and browser. We do not text anyone who has not signed up this way.

Example messages

Xpirius: A date on your list is due in 7 days (11/03). Details: xpirius.com. Reply STOP to opt out.
Xpirius: Sales tax return is due TODAY (11/20). Details: xpirius.com. Reply STOP to opt out.
Xpirius: Food handler card was due 11/03 and is not marked renewed. xpirius.com. Reply STOP to opt out.

How often

At most one text a day, usually 7 days before a date, on the day it is due, and 1 day after if it is not marked renewed. Texts are sent between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Central time, Monday through Saturday. We do not send texts on Sundays. A reminder that falls on a Sunday is sent the next day, so a date due on a Sunday gets a "was due" text on Monday. Do not rely on texts alone. Message and data rates may apply.

Stop or get help

Reply STOP (or QUIT, CANCEL, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE or OPTOUT, or just ask us to stop) to any text and we stop right away. We send one last text to confirm. Reply START to turn texts back on. Reply HELP, or email billing@xpirius.com, for help. You can also turn texts off on your account page. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number stays private

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share your number only with our messaging provider to deliver your texts. Our messaging provider is Twilio. We keep your consent and opt-out records for 5 years after your last text or opt-out, even if you close your account, to prove you agreed. See our Privacy Policy. Reminders are a convenience; you are responsible for knowing your own deadlines.
